The Jackson County School System is dedicated to providing local resources for a wide variety of causes for families in need who live within our community.
Hall County Warming Shelters
These centers are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays. These facilities provide warmth during business hours but are not equipped for overnight stays. Residents needing overnight shelter can visit the Good News at Noon facility, which will operate from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., space permitting.

Monday - Friday: showers, toiletries, access to laundry, clothing, and phone/device charging services. Individuals may also use our address to receive mail.

Good News at Noon provides lunch and dinner for the community at 12:00pm and 7:00pm. We also offer some light case work to refer individuals to appropriate services in our area as needed.
